The Colombian peace process promises to be a long and complex affair. It touches on every aspect of the human experience, and effects the lives of individuals in both very similar and very different ways. Following roundtable discussions with students at Universidad de los Andes and Universidad del Rosario, students at George Washington University produced a series of papers analyzing the most pressing issues raised by their Colombian colleagues. The papers are organized into four categories: social and economic inequality, education and youth development, protection and reintegration, and governance and security. 2-4 papers were selected for each category, which are presented below.
