Tobin Project’s Graduate Student Fellowship and Workshops due soon

The Tobin Project is now accepting applications for our 2018 Graduate Student Fellowship and Workshops from doctoral and professional students conducting research on real-world problems related to the Tobin Project’s National Security and Institutions of Democracy research initiatives. These workshops support students with small research grants and a collaborative two-day discussion in which students can share and develop their research-in-progress with the Tobin Project staff and other fellowship recipients. We welcome applications from students across all social science disciplines and allied fields.

Our National Security workshop will take place on April 25-27 and feature research related to the practices and processes that lead to effective strategic threat assessment. Our Institutions of Democracy workshop will be held on May 30-June 1and focus on research exploring how American democracy has functioned and evolved over time.

The deadline to apply is January 31, 2018, and applications should be submitted to research@tobinproject.org. We would be grateful if you would consider passing this opportunity along to graduate students in your network who you think might be interested. If you have any questions about the program, please see the FAQ section or contact David Cruikshank.
