Due to the volume of requests we receive, we will no longer accept requests for DegreeMAP updates via e-mail.
If you've recently reviewed your DegreeMAP audit and something doesn't seem quite right, don't panic. DegreeMAP is a tool to use in collaboration with your advisor and your approved plan of study to help you track degree progress. Appropriate changes can be made by your advisor so that your audit will accurately reflect your progress.
Here are the steps you can follow to request changes:
- Load your DegreeMAP audit and click "Process New". This will refresh the audit and display up-to-date information.
- If you still think there are issues with your DegreeMAP audit, please complete the Request for DegreeMAP Updates form. An advisor will review your requests and audit and make the appropriate changes.
- Please allow 4-6 weeks for changes to be made. Once 6 weeks have passed, log-in to DegreeMAP and click "Process New" to verify that changes were made. You will not receive a confirmation e-mail from your advisor.
With this turnaround time in mind, please consider the following recommended deadlines to submit your requests for changes if you would like your audit updated before the registration period for your anticipated final term:
Students who intend to graduate in a FALL term should submit requests by February 1.
Students who intend to graduate in a SPRING term should submit requests by September 15.
Students who intend to graduate in a SUMMER term should submit requests by January 15.
Misplacement of courses on your DegreeMAP audit will not prevent you from graduating.
When submitting a request, please be as detailed as possible. A complete form will assist in a shorter turnaround time. You can submit up to three requests per form. If you have more than three requests, please complete this form again to submit additional requests.
