Loran

Loran Gami was a visiting scholar at The George Washington University from January to May 2008. His stay at GWU was made possible by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Loran attended five courses in the English Department: Eng 120, Critical Methods; Eng 128, Shakespeare; Eng 136, Victorian Literature; Eng 140, Irish Literature; Eng 137, Modernism. His academic advisor was Associate Professor Margaret Soltan.

Loran took part in a conference on Shakespeare’s teaching and staging organized by New York University from April 24 to April 27, 2008.

He is presently working on his PhD dissertation titled, “The Aesthetic Challenge of Samuel Beckett’s Dramaturgy”.
