During the 1999-2000 academic year, Svitlana Kominko was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S.Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the American Council of Teachers of Russian. Her mentor at GW was Professor Rolf Peterson.Svitlana Kominko is a professor in the Department of Applied and Social Pedagogics at Moscow State Pedagogical University in Ternopil, Ukraine. She teaches Psychological Science. She has a diploma in Psychology.
