| During the 1996-1997 academic year, Nina Saniakhmetova was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S.Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars. Her mentor at GW was Professor Richard Pierce.Dr. Nina Saniakhmetova is currently a senior lecturer in civil law, at the Odessa State University Law School. She received her law degree from the Law School in 1981, and she has taught there since 1982. During the 1996-1997 academic year she was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University under the USIA Junior Faculty Development Program.
