During the 2001-2002 academic year, Aram Karapetyan was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. His stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Aram T. Karapetyan is an associate professor in the Faculty of Economics of the Yerevan State University. He teaches courses in Management Information Systems, Data Base Management, and Information Technology. His research interests include: Electronic Commerce/Electronic Business and Problem Stability for A-transducers.

Aram T. Karapetyan received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics from the Yerevan State University (Yerevan, Armenia) and a Ph.D. in mathematical cybernetics from the Kiev State University. In 1995 in Yerevan, Armenia, he attended a program “Market-Oriented Economy” and received a certificate from the American University of Armenia.
