During the 2002-2003 academic year, Nino Jgamadze was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her advisor at GWU was Professor Susan Duffy, Department of Management.

Nino Jgamadze is an associate professor at the Humanitarian-Tehnical Department of Georgian Technical University, Tbilisi Georgia. She has also been the director of the Banking-Finance Academy of Georgia since 2001.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE:
2001-present:   Director, Banking-Finance Academy of Georgia
Review, propose and develop curriculum for bankers training. Organize                         and deliver seminars on financial and general topics. Develop certification                         program and implement project “Enhancing Access to Credit for SME                         Sector”. Develop training materials and deliver courses.

2000-present:   Assistant Professor at Georgian Technical University, Department of                         Business Information Technologies.
Deliver lectures and practical training on Operations Management,                         Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis and Management, and Business                         Games. Develop teaching methodology and materials for new courses.

1987 – 2001:   Assistant Professor at Tbilisi State University, Department of Applied                                                    Mathematics.
Deliver lectures and practical training on Numerical Methods and                                                   Hydrodynamics. Supervision of dissertation work of graduate students.

1995-2000:      Member of the Board of Directors of TbilComBank.
Develop partnership with foreign banks and financial institutions. Attract                          investment and credit lines from correspondent banks, international                                                   financial institutions and western partners. Direct and supervise                         representative office in Frankfurt. Make arrangements for FX,                                                               international and local transactions, meet customer needs. Supervise                                                      public relations and marketing company.

1982- 1987:     Develop and present to the government, for consideration and revision,                         construction industry development plans.
