During the 1999-2000 academic year,Vladimir Pozdniakov was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. His stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. His mentor at GW was Professor Charles Jacobina. Vladimir Pozdniakov has worked in the Economics Department of the Voronezh State University since 1995. He aquired a Kandidat Economischeskih Nauk Degree in January of 1999. He has worked as the Chair of Labour Economics and Management in the Department of Economics, and he gave lectures and conducted a practical class in Industrial Marketing. He also conducted a practical class in cybernetics for undergraduate students.
