During the 1996-1997 academic year, Natalya Salikova was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S.Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is administered by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars. Her mentor at GW was Professor Charles Craver.

Professor Salikova is currently an associate professor at the Ural State Academy of Law, where she has been lecturing since 1992. In the past, she was an attorney for a construction company and is also a member of the Association of Lawyers of Sverdlovsk region. Her primary research interest is US labor laws.
