Use of the GW Blogs platform is restricted to current faculty, staff and students at the George Washington University. And Official GW Blogs websites are generally reserved for academic and administrative department use.

For a personal website, including faculty CV websites, please create an Unofficial Blog website. A separate form is available for website requests from student organizations at GW.

Access to existing sites should be directed to an administrator of that site. If you're unsure who the administrator(s) of an existing GW Blogs site is, please email onlinestrategy@gwu.edu for further assistance.

Requests from outside of the GW community will not be approved.

In general, Official Blog site owners desiring a custom domain should expect to use a gwu.edu subdomain URL.

Exceptions for non-gwu.edu websites may be made on a case-by-case basis, but require approval from the Office of Communications & Marketing's web team.
